Updation of Enumeration values of Attribute Type

Suppose Module A has an attribute of enum type with values [1,2,3] and Module B imports this attribute type. If module A, updates the enumeration values of the attribute type as [1,2,3,4,5,6] , can this update be imported in Module B's attribute type?

Is there an existing feature to do this?

How can this be achieved via script?

No feature, but in DXL there is a modify (attribute type) perm. 

Have a look in the DXL manual.
